CaRD Mail Add-In for Outlook®

Business-relevant agreements live in e-mails. As long as they stay in a mailbox they are invisible to everyone else, and at the next change of staff they are gone. The CaRD Mail Add-In puts a button into Outlook that fixes exactly that: open the message, pick the SAP object, file it.

What ends up on the document

The complete message including its attachments, or selected attachments only if you prefer. Afterwards everyone who opens the purchase order, sales order, supplier or document info record in SAP sees the related correspondence in the attachment list.

Nothing to roll out

This is a web add-in. Provisioning is central, after which the button appears in every Outlook variant of the same mailbox: browser, new Outlook for Windows and mobile. No rollout, no software distribution, and an update reaches every user at the same time.

Where the credentials live

Between Outlook and SAP sits a service of your own, operated in your data centre or your cloud. It holds the SAP credentials, resolves the object search and performs the filing through a released SAP standard service; none of it lives in the user browser. The application registration belongs in your own tenant too.

Requirement

Exchange Online or Outlook.com. On-premises Exchange servers and mailboxes connected over IMAP or POP do not support the interfaces required — a boundary of the platform, not of our implementation. For those environments CaRD Office Connect is the right route.
