CaRDscan — Scanning and archiving in SAP®
Scanning straight from SAP: TWAIN-compatible, duplex and feeder support, editing functions, storage in GOS, DMS or any ArchiveLink archive.
With the CaRD Scan Control your staff scan documents of any kind straight from SAP and store them immediately against the right object. All TWAIN-compatible scanners with duplex, automatic document feeder and the usual convenience functions are supported. Several formats are available for storage (PDF, TIF, PNG, BMP, JPG), multipage included.
Before storing, pages can be rotated, mirrored, cropped or cut — which saves the usual correction round through a separate tool. The solution works with all common archives as well as with third-party systems connected to SAP through ArchiveLink.
You can use the Scan Control for object storage (GOS — Generic Object Services) as well as for the SAP document management system, where originals are scanned directly to the document info record. Integration into the standard menu, into document types, into SAP PLM and into the SAP workflow engine is possible; all standard functions remain intact. Other SAP objects — customer, vendor and more — and your own programs can be connected too.
The solution is lean, close to self-explanatory and quick to roll out. Licensing follows user count in graded packages, from a single licence to more than 500 users; usable system-wide for all objects and processes.
