SharePoint® ArchiveLink for Microsoft 365
The cloud variant: SAP archives straight into your SharePoint Online tenant — no local archive system, no extra server landscape.
The same ArchiveLink mechanics as the on-premise variant, only with SharePoint Online as the target: your Microsoft 365 tenant becomes the document archive back end for SAP. Content repositories and document types decide in SAP which records land in the cloud and are served back from there.
Here, too, we provide index information in SharePoint so the documents are reachable through the familiar SharePoint interface — for example to give drawings converted to PDF to colleagues without an SAP licence. Visibility stays under your control in SAP and in SharePoint, down to object level. Besides SAP PLM, classic object storage with business documents and the GOS services are supported.
