Front-end maintenance tool for material master texts
The tool for everyone translating outside SAP: marketing, agencies, service providers — in the right format, without SAP access.
Not everyone translating material master texts has SAP access — nor do they need it. This independent Java-based editing tool takes the texts, allows editing outside SAP and returns them in the right format. Marketing departments, product data providers and translation agencies work directly with your data.
Fully automatic machine translation is available on request; it requires an API key for the translation service in question.
If you run several SAP systems with their own material masters — that is, without central material master governance — the texts can be buffered in a database. You then use the same terms across systems, each term is translated only once, and manual comparisons disappear.
